IN THIS ARTICLE: Some claim baptism “In the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit” is wrong and brings God’s condemnation, claiming Acts 2:38 shows the way.
Wow. Thank you for explaining. I’m curious if this is similar to the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ view. I get occasional visits from some very sweet ladies that belong to a local JW church and in our conversations they have mentioned that they’re not trinitarian. But I’m not sure what they believe about baptism. It’s funny how they always seem to have someone “waiting in the car” and have to leave as soon as I start asking a lot of questions.
Thanks Julie! Not sure how they baptize but they have beliefs similar to Arianism, which was rejected at Nicaea. They think Jesus was a created being, not fully God and not eternal.
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome, Kristin!
Very well articulated.
de nada!
